MUDWRENCH

The story of how MUDWRENCH started

 

 

It was June 2009. Tommy got in his truck and drove to Terry Rogers Guitars, the music store where Marshall was working. People had told him Marshall was really busy, and that it would be pointless to try to get him to jam, because he was so busy. In reality he wasn't that busy.  So Tommy arrive's, gets out and starts toward the store. About halfway there he let what people said get to him, turned around and started back for the truck. The truck was locked with the keys in it, and he couldn't get in. His cell phone was dead. He had to come in at that point. Marshall and Tommy talked. Tommy came to Terry's studio that night and Marshall and Tommy jammed. Within the first measure  of the first song they looked at each other and knew that it was supernatural. That they could make history...

The next day Tommy came to the music store and got Marshall. They went to Tommy's, jammed, had a discussion...Tommy said "I had this dream brother, We were walking down a dirt road, there was this 1938 Pontiac Hot Rod sitting in the middle of the road, just sitting there rumbling, and revving. Everytime we would get close to it, the car would pull up a few feet, and it kept happening, until we were getting so close we could reach for a door handle, then it would pull up again. Lets get in the car man!"

 

And MUDWRENCH was born.
